An initial investigation report proves it: The Salzburgers buried on the hospital grounds of the Salzburg Provincial Hospitals 150 years ago worked hard. The new Internal Medicine 3 is being built where their bones were excavated.

The first examination results of the 1183 skeletons recovered from the grounds of the Salzburg Provincial Hospitals are now available. A preliminary report to the hospital management illustrates the hard life of the Salzburgers buried there.
