On Wednesday evening, Reumannplatz in Vienna was once again the focus of police attention: a crackdown was carried out as part of a special operation. The weapons ban zone seems to be having an effect, crime on the spot has fallen - reports the Federal Chancellor. The "Krone" has the exact crime statistics. 

On Wednesday evening, things got heated again at Reumannplatz. Because of the violence in recent weeks, the police have been keeping a close eye on the multicultural square and have launched another special operation. The "Krone" was on site together with Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP).
