Employees track down serial thief (19)

A 19-year-old from Graz committed multiple thefts from a DIY store in Seiersberg (Graz area) between September 2023 and May 2024. Police officers seized stolen goods worth several thousand euros.

Employees of the company tracked down the perpetrator, who was selling the stolen goods via an internet sales platform. They finally reported the man to the Seiersberg police on Tuesday afternoon. The officers confronted the suspect with the facts of the case. He then confessed. During a voluntary inspection at his home address, the police seized the unsold stolen goods worth several thousand euros. The man will be charged.
