Carlo Ancelotti opens up about Bayern dismissal

Carlo Ancelotti has spoken out about his departure from FC Bayern. The Italian had been on the Munich team's coaching bench for a year from summer 2016 before having to pack his bags in the fall of 2017. The 64-year-old now cited a lack of support from the club as the reason for his departure.

"In the end, we coaches have to have the support of the club, that's fundamental. And if that doesn't exist, you have to part ways to prevent problems. That's the truth in a few words," Ancelotti accused Bayern ahead of the reunion in the Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday. The four-time winner of the premier class is now coaching Real Madrid, fighting for a place in the final against his former club of all teams.
