City gives green light for Austria Salzburg

Austria Salzburg still has until tomorrow to submit an arbitration claim to the third instance. The city has now given the green light for the building permit for the noise barrier.

The battle for the second league license is entering the final round for Austria Salzburg. The Violets have until Tuesday to file a complaint with the Permanent Neutral Court of Arbitration. Today, those responsible will decide at a board meeting whether they will do so.

The tipping point is the (still) missing building permit for the planned noise barrier. However, this has now been given the green light by the city council. The developer no longer has any objections, the construction has been approved and the decision should be received by Austria soon, according to the current mayor Harald Preuner (ÖVP).

This clears the way for the Maxglans to go into the final battle, but they should not hold out much hope, as officially no more documents can be submitted, so the chances of success are very slim.
