Multi-discipline athlete gets off to a stuttering start in Italy

This was not the plan! Chiara Schuler from Vorarlberg had a day to forget at the Multistars all-around meeting in Brescia, Italy, and fell well short of her expectations. 

Things did not go according to plan in the 100 meter hurdles. The 22-year-old was bumped at the very first obstacle and then got stuck at the last hurdle, finishing in 14.60 seconds.

Below expectations
In the high jump, "Kiki" fell short of her expectations at 1.59 meters, as she did in the shot put, where she only managed 12.06 meters. Schuler ran the 200 meters in 25.34 seconds and finished day 1 with 3140 points.
