Man (22) attacked train attendant in the Waldviertel region

A 22-year-old man allegedly attacked a train conductor (55) in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria at around 9 p.m. on Monday and threw food at him. The man did not have a valid ticket with him. Charge!

The rioter should have been escorted off the train at Eggenburg station (Horn district).

Train attendant headbutted
The accused headbutted the train attendant, causing the 55-year-old to suffer a facial injury. According to police reports on Tuesday, the latter was treated by the ambulance and examined in hospital.

The 22-year-old was reported to the Horn district authority for disturbing public order. The Krems public prosecutor's office was also called in. The charges include damage to property, bodily harm and an assault on employees of a public transportation facility entrusted with certain tasks.

The man from the Horn district was provisionally arrested and charged.
