Alpen-Adria Gymnasium invites you to the big demolition party

On June 21, the Völkermarkt grammar school graduates can meet for the last time in their old school, which is being demolished after 50 years.

The Alpen-Adria-Gymnasium was completed in 1974 - since then, more than 2600 girls and boys have graduated from the Völkermarkt school. Today, the graduates are spread all over the world, where they have made and continue to make their careers.

An era in school history comes to an end
In summer, however, an era in Völkermarkt's school history will come to an end: the old grammar school, where everyone went to school, will be demolished and rebuilt together with the neighboring HAK as a modern federal school cluster (we reported). Both schools will then be united under one roof.

Demolition party with show acts and more
For this reason, the school's alumni association (AVG) is hosting a big demolition party on June 21, where all graduates and teachers can officially bid farewell to their school. The party starts at 5.30 p.m. and features a varied program with show acts, music and more. Further information can be found at: avg1.at
