Model Angelina Kirsch shows off her “horse kiss”
Model Angelina Kirsch can currently tell you a thing or two about how the luck of the earth doesn't always lie on the back of a horse. The 35-year-old, who recently struggled with facial paralysis, has now had a riding accident. She has now presented the consequences on Instagram.
On Instagram, Angelina Kirsch showed the huge bruise that currently adorns the back of her face. The 35-year-old can now laugh again about the riding accident, which fortunately turned out to be harmless.
"A special memento"
"This is a special souvenir of our first tournament," she commented on the short clip. "When your courage leaves your horse and you then "leave" its saddle, you're left with a horse's kiss."
Her horse "Flaumi" found the music system "stupid", Kirsch also revealed how the riding accident, which did not happen at the tournament but during the dress rehearsal, could have happened. The model beauty then revealed to her fans that she still took part in the competition.
Suffered facial paralysis
Angelina Kirsch made headlines just last summer. Back then, the 35-year-old woke up with a half-sided facial paralysis, which she didn't want to hide from her fans, but bravely showed on Instagram.
She is now "doing very well again", Kirsch told Bild newspaper. "I'm very happy that 98 percent of everything is back the way it was before." But she still has to go to speech therapy, Kirsch continued. According to the doctors, it can "take up to two years" before everything is fully restored.
Kirsch has no regrets about going public with her facial paralysis. "When I say that I love my body the way it is, then my face is also part of it," she explained. "So many people have written to me that it has given them courage."
