The time has finally come in a month's time! On May 18 and 19, the 49th edition of the legendary Hypo all-around meet will take place at the Mösle in Götzn. Not only the athletes, but also the organizers, who were also able to come up with an important decision regarding the future on Wednesday, are very excited.

"Planning security is a very important issue for us," explained Alexandra Giesinger, OC President of the Götzner all-around meeting. She was therefore delighted that, following the TV contract with ORF, the contract with the main sponsor was also extended yesterday by four years until 2028. "We are delighted that we will be able to celebrate the 50th anniversary with the meeting next year," said Hypo CEO Michel Haller, happy about the continuation of the cooperation with the traditional event.

Last year's winner missing, top men present
The event starts on May 18, a week earlier than usual, and will once again have an excellent line-up this year - despite the challenging schedule. In the men's event, the top three from the 2023 World Championships have already confirmed their participation, namely the Canadians Pierce LePage and Damian Warner as well as Lindon Victor (Grenada). In the women's event, last year's crowd favorite Anna Hall (US) is focusing entirely on the trials and the Olympic Games in Paris after an injury and will therefore be absent in Götzis. Dutch rider Anouk Vetter has confirmed her attendance instead. "There is still a lot of movement in the starting field," says Walter Weber, sports director in Götzis. "But the situation should become a bit clearer after the Multistars meeting at the end of April."

Austro-Trials promise excitement
It is certain that two local heroes, Chiara Schuler from Hörbranz and Isabel Posch from Fußach, will be taking part again this year. The duo will be competing in the Mösle with Verena Mayr, Ivona Dadic, Sarah Lagger and Sophie Kreiner for the national title and possible tickets for the European Championships in Rome and the Olympics. Before that, both are planning to compete at the Multistars meeting, although Posch's participation is still open due to ankle problems.
