Austria hopes for an Olympic fairytale in Paris

On April 16, the Olympic flame was traditionally lit at the ancient site of Olympia, and on April 17, it will be exactly 100 days until the Games of the 33rd Olympiad in Paris. An occasion for the "Krone" to take a quick look at our hottest medal contenders from July 26 to August 11.

Probably the biggest red-white-red medal bank is climber Jakob Schubert. He is the reigning world champion in the combined event, where medals are at stake in Paris, and is considered the favorite together with Japan's prodigy Anraku Sorato.
