Smartphone use by children: What do you think?

Almost nothing works without a smartphone these days. Most of us always have our mini-computers with us. This is also increasingly true for children. For parents, they seem to be indispensable as a direct line to their children. In addition, using them promotes the technological skills that children need to acquire in this day and age. With the right apps, they can also learn through play.

On the other hand, however, there are safety and health risks. For example, without proper monitoring, children can be exposed to inappropriate online content or become victims of cyberbullying. They are a major distraction, especially at school.
