Newcomer Feurstein strikes it big in the Allgäu

What a debut for Kilian Feurstein from Dornbirn in Team Vorarlberg! The 20-year-old, who has primarily made headlines on his mountain bike so far and is riding his first road season in the jersey of Thomas Kofler's Ländle-Équipe this year, won the second stage of the Tour de Allgäu.

 After finishing 33rd in the mountain time trial on Friday, he won the sprint on Saturday after 121 kilometers. "It's great that I managed to win my first real road race," said a jubilant Kilian.

He not only secured the first win of the season for Team Vorarlberg, but also took the lead in the U23 classification ahead of today's final stage.
