Vandal demolished wheel loader and cigarette machine

In the middle of the night, a vandal was up to mischief on a company site in Nassereith, Tyrol (Imst district): The 28-year-old suspect is said to have damaged a cigarette vending machine and a wheel loader. When a witness tried to overpower the suspected perpetrator, violence broke out.

At around 2.45 am, the 28-year-old local man is said to have struck in the area of a factory site in Nassereith. According to the police, the suspect demolished a cigarette vending machine and smashed a window of a parked wheel loader.

Scuffles broke out between the men. Both people were injured.

In the course of the escape, a 23-year-old witness confronted the man. "This led to scuffles between the men. Both people were injured," said the investigators.

Suspect had to go to hospital
After first aid, the suspected vandal was taken to Zams Hospital by ambulance. The 23-year-old will see a doctor himself, it was said. Corresponding charges will follow.
