On the 33rd matchday in the Premier League, Arsenal suffered a heavy 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa. The Londoners also failed to capitalize on Liverpool's slip-up and missed out on a move to the top of the table. Manchester City are now enthroned there again. 

Arsenal were beaten by fourth-placed Aston Villa thanks to two late goals from Leon Bailey (84th) and Ollie Watkins (87th). The big winners of the round are defending champions City, whose team coached by Pep Guardiola had dispatched Luton Town 5:1 on Saturday.

While the Sky Blues were in third place before the matchday, the Gunners and the Reds will now have to hope for a slip-up from Erling Haaland and Co.
