The “Hotel Mama” is the best place to be after all

Anes Masic has arrived at FC Pinzgau. The 19-year-old is considered a talent, but was set back by an injury during preparation. He has big long-term goals. In the summer, he is set to replace Moritz Eder, who will probably end up in the professional ranks.

Hopes were high on both sides when Anes Masic joined FC Pinzgau in the winter. However, disillusionment followed during preparations: the 19-year-old suffered an injury. He is now fit again and made his debut against Wolfurt a week ago. "It was really nice to play again," said a delighted Masic. The talented winger has already been around a lot. He went from the Red Bull Academy to the second team of WSG Tirol to Heilbronn in Germany. He has been back home since January. "I'm living with my parents again, which is very pleasant," says Masic, enjoying the advantages of "Hotel Mama".

Goal: professional football
He has big plans for the long term: "My big goal is to improve my defensive work and move towards the second and first division." Before that, however, the Pinzgau team are planning with him. He should gain match practice in the spring and replace the currently injured Moritz Eder in the summer.

The right-back's professional dream could soon come true. The trial training sessions at GAK went according to plan. "It looks good," says coach Hannes Schützinger happily.
