Putin is now conscripting 150,000 conscripts

From next Monday, Russia will call up 150,000 conscripts for basic military service. Observers fear that they will be used specifically for the bloodshed in Ukraine.

Russia has been waging a brutal war of aggression against its neighboring country for more than two years and is trying to subjugate the Ukrainian people by any means necessary. The losses on both sides are enormous. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky repeatedly accuses Putin of treating his own citizens like "consumables".

From April 1 to July 15, 150,000 soldiers between the ages of 18 and 30 are to be drafted into Russia again. Head of state and warlord Vladimir Putin signed a decree to this effect, which was made public in Moscow on Sunday:

According to the exiled Russian news portal "Vyorstka", the Russian Ministry of Defense is planning to send another 300,000 men to war.

Pressure and coercion to the front
In Russia, such regular call-ups generally take place twice a year - in spring and fall. However, observers fear that the young men could be forced to serve at the front.

Moscow is known to place no value on the protection of human rights and does not shy away from cruel methods to achieve its goals.
