The arduous journey of a parcel: When a Viennese man posted a parcel with important contents at the post office, he had no idea that the item would keep him busy for some time. And that he would even have to go to the post office with a tape measure. The ombudswoman and Krone+ investigated the case.

"I paid for a service and then had to deal with the matter myself," says Thomas B. from Vienna. What happened? On February 28, Mr B. posted a parcel to be sent to someone in Styria. The contents: high-calorie food for cancer patients that was no longer needed in his family. He created a so-called parcel stamp for the shipment.
