Off to the trash? Our public transport tour was this “dirty”

Dirty compartments, garbage left behind and even lice pose challenges for transport service providers. Krone+ experienced positive things on a public transport tour through the country - and knows the problems.

Riding public transport: It can be fun, but it doesn't have to be. The "Krone" recently traveled by train from Stockerau via St. Pölten to Linz, took the S-Bahn to Asten, visited St. Florian by bus, headed back to Salzburg by train, reached Filzmoos via Bischofshofen and Eben and then drove everything back again. Conclusion: Lots of scenery, few delays, less than 10 minutes in total, but these were "made up" again. What's more, the carriages and station areas were pretty clean.
