Sweet birthday post for “Gentleman” Bruce Willis
US actor Bruce Willis has been congratulated on his 69th birthday via Instagram by his wife Emma Heming Willis (45).
"Happy birthday, my love," Heming Willis wrote on Instagram on Tuesday. "He is a true gentleman. With so much love to give and share. I get to see the real him inside. And let me tell you, it's so pure and good."
The British-born actress also posted a photo showing Willis with a baby.
In her Instagram story, the 45-year-old also posted a picture of Willis' birthday cake and captioned it: "69 candles on Bruce's cake would burn the house down! Four seemed appropriate."
Emotional birthday greetings for the action star
The couple married in 2009 and have two daughters. Willis, who was born in Idar-Oberstein in Rhineland-Palatinate in 1955 to an American father and a German mother, became a world-famous Hollywood star primarily with action films.
Last year, his family announced that Willis had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. The disease causes nerve cells in the brain to die.
