Katharina Stemberger: “It’s good for my soul”
As an actress, Katharina Stemberger regularly slips into new roles. In "Durchgezappt", she reveals to "Krone" TV editor Marie Leopoldsberger which films she leans back and watches others play.
A man has been shot dead, his wife has disappeared: These are hard facts that Katharina Stemberger is confronted with as a TV investigator in the new episodes of the crime series "SOKO Linz". In her private life, the Viennese actress also likes facts, as she mainly watches news programs, she tells the "Kronen Zeitung".
"With friends, husband or child and subsequent family discussions," laughs Stemberger. "I think it's important to consult various sources to get a proper picture of the situation." Otherwise, train journeys are often used to watch series, but only "when I'm not learning lines". Incidentally, you rarely see her with potato chips in front of the TV or laptop: "I usually have a cup of black tea in my hand." Katharina Stemberger reveals her five TV tips of the week...
"Krone": "A little phobia never hurts" could at least be the motto of "Monk": (Monday, 1.20 pm, ORF 1)
Katharina Stemberger: I can almost speak for all the episodes. I'm a big Monk fan. First and foremost because everyone's acting is so great and the series is so enjoyable.
There's more to laugh about on Tuesday in "Die Anstalt" (10.45 pm, ZDF).
This is simply a satire format at its best. What I like so much about it is that they go very far. The format is also incredibly clever and well done. It just does my soul good.
Go on a crystal skull hunt on Wednesday with "Indiana Jones" (8.15 pm, PULS 4).
I can watch all the "Indiana Jones" films again at any time. And this one stars Cate Blanchett, who I particularly enjoy watching at play.
We get up early from Monday to Friday with "Guten Morgen Österreich" (from 6.30 a.m. on ORF 2).
I think Eva Pölzl and Patrick Budgen do a really great job. For me, the program is a perfect mix of information and entertainment to get me up in the morning.
"Already seen" doesn't just apply to Denzel Washington in the case of your fifth TV tip: "Déjà vu" Friday, 8.15 pm on RTL 2.
I'm becoming a fan again, this time of Washington. The story is so good that I'm annoyed that I already know the movie. And yet I watch it over and over again (laughs). Hot recommendation from me!
TV commissioner Katharina Stemberger and her colleague Daniel Gawlowski will be back on the hunt for criminals in new episodes of "SOKO Linz" from tomorrow, Tuesday. The second season kicks off with a double episode, which can be seen on ORF 1 at 8.15 pm and is also available on ORF on.
