28-year-old threatened to kill bouncer

At around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning, an altercation broke out between a 28-year-old known to the police and a bouncer at a disco in Villach (Carinthia).

Intervening officers heard the intoxicated 28-year-old threatening to kill the bouncer. It subsequently emerged during the investigation that a 26-year-old man from the district of Lienz (East Tyrol) had already been assaulted in the disco.

Victim taken to hospital with a laceration
According to the current state of the investigation, it is unclear whether this was committed by the 28-year-old. The East Tyrolean had a laceration above his left eye. After initial treatment, he was taken to Villach Regional Hospital by the ambulance service.

Video recordings were secured and will be analyzed later. Several police patrols were at the scene.
