With a firearm in a Vienna post office – operation

On Tuesday afternoon, an unknown person allegedly demanded cash and threatened the employees at a post office in Vienna-Penzing with a suspected firearm. The police are searching at full speed for the perpetrator. 

At around 3.45 pm, the man is said to have stormed into the branch armed. According to the police, the unknown man first threatened the employees and then demanded cash. The perpetrator then allegedly put the money in a black rucksack and fled.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery and officers are already searching for the man. According to witnesses, the robber was wearing a mask. He was also wearing dark clothing and a dark baseball cap. The extensive search has so far been unsuccessful.
