Man (38) beaten up in front of restaurant: Perpetrators fled

An argument in a pub in Sölden in the Tyrolean Ötztal escalated completely late on Thursday. Two unknown perpetrators beat up a German man (38), leaving him hospitalized. A manhunt for the attackers has so far been unsuccessful.

The incident occurred shortly before midnight. There was probably an argument in the nightclub. Fists then flew in front of the bar. "Two as yet unknown perpetrators punched the 38-year-old for reasons that are currently unknown," said the investigators.

A manhunt launched immediately was unsuccessful.

The victim suffered serious injuries to his face. "The perpetrators then fled in an unknown direction." An immediate search by the police was unsuccessful. After first aid, the German was taken to Zams Hospital by ambulance. Further investigations into the perpetrators will follow.
