Courageous young Tyroleans: record number of new companies

The crisis year 2023 was characterized by economic uncertainty, high inflation, a wave of price increases and new theaters of war. Despite this, most companies were founded in Tyrol during these bleak times. One start-up company is enjoying record sales and proving its adaptability with a new idea.

The Young Economy (JW) Tirol has a new face at the top. After two terms in office, Dominik Jenewein has handed over the reins to Patrick Schwarz. The 34-year-old from Landeck took over the catering company from his father 13 years ago. The company has eleven locations with 30 employees. On Thursday, the new chairman presented both his goals and the figures relating to the new companies founded in the previous year.
