Schwarzenegger son lands role in hit series

Dad Arnold Schwarzenegger will be immensely proud. His eldest son Patrick continues to follow in his father's footsteps as an actor. The 30-year-old is now checking into "The White Lotus", one of the most successful American series. 

To be more precise, he has been booked for the third season alongside stars such as Michelle Monaghan - although it is not yet known in which role.

Patrick Schwarzenegger was over the moon about the new role on Instagram. "I watch this show every week with my family and every time we watch it they say 'Why can't you audition for this show!!!! And voila!"

He is "forever grateful" that he got the chance to play a part in this series, says Arnie's son.

Shooting in Thailand
The drama-comedy is about the connections between employees and the rich guests of the fictional, luxury hotel chain "The White Lotus". 

The first part was set in Hawaii, the second in Sicily. The third part is to be filmed on the Thai islands of Koh Samui and Phuket and in the capital Bangkok from February.

Patrick Schwarzenegger has so far only had small roles in shows such as "The Terminal List", in which his brother-in-law Chris Pratt played the leading role, and "Scream Queens".
