Carnival with heart, humor and a hearty “Moo Moo”

The youngest carnival guild in Carinthia promises a program with pep, spice and variety. True to their motto "Carnival with heart", they invite you to a total of five sessions from February 7. 

"For me, the whole year is carnival," laughs Jürgen Kupper, founding member and chairman of the Moosburg Carnival Guild. The youngest guild in Carinthia is celebrating its 10th anniversary this season.

A breath of fresh air and non-stop punchlines
"It wasn't always easy with the location of the carnival sessions, but now we've arrived well at the Moosburg campus," says Kupper, looking forward to the upcoming sessions. Established performers and seven newcomers promise a breath of fresh air and non-stop punchlines. They have been rehearsing diligently since October to offer the audience a varied and entertaining evening.

Male ballet and other surprises
"Of course, our male ballet will be back again this year, but I don't want to give too much away - we want the audience to be surprised," laughs Kupper mischievously. His daughter is also making her debut on the carnival stage for the first time. True to their guild motto "Carnival with heart", cohesion is a top priority, as it is also a small family project.

A different kind of carnival
"It's not just my daughter who is involved, my son also helps backstage and my wife is responsible for running the show." With the new program, which celebrates its premiere on 7 February, the guild really lets it rip again. "Our carnival is a bit different, there's not much politicking, we take the mayor to task a bit - but everything is above the belt!" With three singing numbers, lots of spoken word acts and rousing dance interludes, the show will keep you laughing until February 15.
