Driver hit girl (10) in Salzburg

A traffic accident with an injured child occurred in Salzburg on Monday afternoon. A car driver collided with a girl in the Liefering district.

The collision occurred in Bessarabierstraße in Salzburg on Monday afternoon. A ten-year-old girl from Germany was hit and knocked over by the car of a 26-year-old man. The driver of the car was unable to prevent the accident despite braking hard.

After initial treatment at the scene of the accident, the pedestrian, who was injured to an indeterminate degree, was taken to Salzburg University Hospital by ambulance. A breathalyzer test was carried out and the result was negative.
