New edition of the Advent market at Lake Salzachsee

Christmas spirit at the bathing lake for the second time: the Advent market at Salzachsee is open on five Advent weekends on Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 7 pm.

It starts on November 22nd: Along the shores of the lake in Liefering, the Salzachsee Advent market will then enter its second season. Cosy and a little insider tip: with 15 uniformly designed sales huts along the sidewalk, finely illuminated, the Advent market offers an alternative to large markets.

24 exhibitors sell high-quality products. Handicraft products made from wool, wire, wood, marble, ceramics or decorative items, gifts, jewelry and natural cosmetics. The culinary focus is on the classics: hot chestnuts and baked potatoes, smoked fish, bacon, cheese and sweets. There's mulled wine, punch and children's punch to drink. 

Organizer Franz Götzinger says: "I run the snack stands at the Liefering bathing lake in summer. With the Advent market, I want to liven up the Salzachseen recreational area in winter too. The Advent market has been a long-standing wish of mine and I am delighted that it was so well received last year."
