The night of November 9th to 10th marks the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The Carinthian artist Max Gangl was imprisoned for ten hours at Schönefeld Airport in East Berlin. While waiting for freedom, he was served caviar and champagne: "I'll never forget that time!"

This weekend marks the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Max Gangl, a well-known Carinthian artist, witnessed the end of the GDR at Schönefeld Airport in East Berlin. "I will never forget the pictures," Gangl assures "Krone".
