Glasses clinked on Halloween night in Tyrol

While witches, ghosts, skeletons and other creepy creatures were up to their mischief on Halloween night, the walls in the Tyrolean Stubai Valley were once again shaking noticeably. An earthquake was recorded there in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The earthquake service of GeoSphere Austria (formerly ZAMG) registered the quake with a magnitude of 3.6 at exactly 8.19 pm. According to the experts, it was clearly felt in the epicenter area south of Fulpmes.

No damage reported
According to reports, small objects moved occasionally, windows and furniture creaked and glasses rattled. No damage to buildings was reported, but this is "only rare" at this magnitude.
