Burglars looted a cigarette vending machine

In the witching hour between midnight and two o'clock in the morning, burglars looted a cigarette vending machine in a supermarket parking lot in Alkoven, causing extensive damage. The police are appealing for information.

Unknown perpetrators first levered open the padlock attached to a cigarette vending machine on October 1st, most likely between midnight and 2 a.m., before forcing open the side flap and the locked door of the machine with a flat tool. The vending machine is located in a parking lot in front of a supermarket in the municipality of Alkoven, directly on the B129.

Loot worth several thousand euros
They then stole a large quantity of cigarette packs, tobacco products and smoking accessories worth several thousand euros as well as cash. The vending machine sustained damage in the four-digit range.
