Robbery victim’s head hit against steering wheel

Unknown men attacked a young female driver in Bad Sauerbrunn. One perpetrator smashed the woman's head against the steering wheel.

Shock in the tranquil spa town of Bad Sauerbrunn: on Wednesday afternoon, a 27-year-old woman was the victim of a brutal robbery. The young woman had just been in her parked car when a stranger came to the open driver's door and threatened her with a knife. He then grabbed her by the head and smashed it against the steering wheel.

Handbag full of money gone
At the same time, an accomplice opened the passenger door and snatched the woman's handbag. Both perpetrators then fled in a car. According to the police, the handbag contained a sum of money in the low five-figure range. The 27-year-old woman could not yet be questioned, but she has already left the hospital.
