Real Madrid's new signing has broken a club record with his goal to make the final score 3-0 against promoted Real Valladolid. The 18-year-old Brazilian replaces Raphael Varane as the "Royals'" youngest foreign goalscorer. 

While superstar Kylian Mbappe remained pale on Sunday, the young newcomer stole the show in his first league home game of the season, scoring in the 96th minute to make it 3:0. "Endrick steals Mbappe's day" was the headline in the Spanish newspaper Marca, while the As also wrote: "Endrick steals Mbappe's party."

"Have been through a lot"
And not without a record. At 18 years and 35 days, the striker is the youngest non-Spanish goalscorer in the club's history. "I think we're all happy, we played here in front of our families, we won 3-0, my family are here and they know how much I've worked and suffered, they've suffered too," said Endrick after the game. "People have criticized me and my family too, my girlfriend too, we've all been through a lot and to experience this moment is wonderful."

The youngster is now held in high esteem by Madrid fans, with the left-footed player's commitment in particular being highly praised. Videos show him sprinting and running out in an empty stadium - just a few hours after he entered Real's history books.
