Polcanova takes revenge on Adriana Diaz

European table tennis champion Sofia Polanova took revenge on Sunday at the Grand Smash tournament in Jeddah for her defeat to Adriana Diaz at the World Cup in Macau in mid-April. She defeated the Puerto Rican 3:1 (5,-11,9,10) and is through to the sixteenth-finals. 

Polcanova's next opponent is China's Qian Tianyi, ranked 25th in the world and five places behind the ÖTTV ace. The mixed team of Robert Gardos/Polcanova and Gardos/Daniel Habesohn will be in action on Monday.
