Robert Klauß: “We are very difficult to beat”

Salzburg had to settle for a 1-1 draw against SK Rapid in the third round of the Champions League on Sunday. Read what the coaches of both teams had to say after the final whistle here.

Gerhard Struber (Salzburg coach): "Of course it hurts when you concede the equalizer so late. We invested a lot and worked our way into the game. Rapid were very compact. We worked out a lot and were rewarded with the goal. We weren't lucky in the end, but we deserved to win because we did more for the game. We lacked the creativity to create chances in the final third. We have to work on that and create better automatisms."

Robert Klauß (Rapid coach): "I'm happy with the result. A point away from home against the league leaders is something we can live with. But we can certainly play better. In the first half, we did what we set out to do and above all kept our opponents far away from goal. We weren't very good in the second half, we lost the ball too often. We were tired, we weren't lively enough. I also lacked confidence in our own strengths. If we want to win here, we have to be better. But you could see again today that we are very difficult to beat."
