Viennese kicks pregnant girlfriend (44) in the stomach

There were two cases of domestic violence in Vienna on Saturday night. In Favoriten, a man (29) hit his pregnant girlfriend several times in the stomach.

When the alerted officers arrived at the couple's apartment, the woman (44) had visible injuries to her face. According to the police, there had previously been a violent argument during which the suspect hit his pregnant girlfriend in the face and stomach. He was arrested by the officers.

Similar case in Ottakring
There was another case of domestic violence in Ottakring on Sunday night. After an argument, a 22-year-old woman threatened her husband with a knife. Two of their three children were also in the apartment at the time. The husband called the police. Shortly afterwards, the 22-year-old was provisionally arrested.

In both cases, she was banned from entering and approaching the house and a temporary weapons ban was issued.
