Iniesta, Figo and Naybet ambassadors for the 2030 World Cup!
Spain's World Cup final goalscorer Andrés Iniesta, Portugal's ball wizard Luis Figo and Morocco's record-breaking player Noureddine Naybet will be the faces of the future World Cup hosts!
The trio were presented at an event in Lisbon on Tuesday as ambassadors for the 2030 finals, which are to be held in the three countries.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Irene Paredes and Achraf Hakimi will be among the ambassadors from the circle of active professionals.
Multilingual motto "YallaVamos"
100 years after the first World Cup, matches are also to be held in 2030 in the first host country, Uruguay, as well as in Argentina and Paraguay.
The World Football Association will officially decide on the long-known plans in the fall. The joint bid by Portugal, Spain and Morocco is to be based on the multilingual motto "YallaVamos" and will be officially submitted in July.
