Magic foot works diligently on his return
After his knee injury, Salzburg's Luka Sucic is already working hard on his comeback. The Croatian trained individually with a rehabilitation coach in Taxham on Tuesday. However, it is still too early for the midfielder to play in the opening game of the championship round against Hartberg on Sunday.
"I'm already feeling better again." Luka Sucic was clearly in a good mood when the "Krone" asked him about his current state of health during training in Taxham on Tuesday. The midfielder had injured his knee in Salzburg's 7:0 thumping win against Lustenau and has been condemned to sit out ever since. The magic foot's creativity has been sorely missed in the Bulls' play of late. But Sucic should not be out for too much longer. The home game against Hartberg to kick off the championship round on Sunday is still too early for him, but the Croatian could make his comeback after the upcoming international break.
Schmäh runs
He worked individually with rehabilitation coach Dominik Urmann during team training yesterday, doing some coordination exercises on the pitch. And the Schmäh ran. "Bravo Herbert", shouted the 21-year-old when Salzburg's goalkeeping coach Herbert Ilsanker scored a goal against Alexander Schlager.
Speaking of Schlager, the ÖFB one-man was one of the few national team players to take part in the session.
