Dog “Luna” fell 30 meters into the depths

Two-year-old French bulldog "Luna" had a lucky escape on the Hohe Wand in Lower Austria at the weekend. Although the dog fell 30 meters, it remained completely unharmed.

According to the Lower Austria Provincial Police Directorate, a Ukrainian couple with their two children and dog "Luna" were walking from the Skywalk towards Almfrieden when the free-roaming bulldog suddenly slipped and fell.

Packed in a rucksack
After the deep fall, an alerted mountain rescuer immediately rushed to the frightened animal with a rope. The rescuer put the four-legged friend in his rucksack before both were pulled out of the wall using a pulley. The dog was taken to a vet for a check-up.
