Crash on S2: Third teenager now dead in hospital

Shortly before Christmas, two teenagers lost their lives in a horrific accident on the S2 near Vienna. Since then, a third teenager, who was rescued from the burning car, has been fighting for his life in hospital. The 16-year-old has now lost this battle.

The trio crashed into the crash barrier in a powerful Audi A7, the car immediately caught fire and burned out completely. The third victim, a 16-year-old passenger from Marchfeld, has so far been fighting for survival in hospital, unfortunately in vain.

Zlatko H. died in hospital and will soon be buried with his immediate family.
