Fiery red hair! This is what the new Momo looks like
Constantin Film is bringing "MOMO", an international reinterpretation of Michael Ende's famous fantasy novel, to the big screen. The first photos of the new film adaptation have now been released and surprise us with a red-haired Momo.
Directed by Christian Ditter, the modern, English-language adaptation, produced by Christian Becker, is currently being filmed in Croatia and Slovenia. Now an exclusive sneak peek has revealed who the new Momo will be in the spectacular movie: Alexa Goodall!
New Momo with fiery red hair
Alexa Goodall has previously appeared in smaller roles in series such as "The Devil's Hour", "Lockwood & Co." and "The Long Shadow". Her new series "A Gentleman in Moscow", in which Goodall appears alongside Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, starts on May 17. Her Momo now has red instead of dark hair - but the curls have remained.
Other roles in front of the camera include Kim Bodnia ("The Witcher"), Martin Freeman ("The Hobbit"), Claes Bang ("The Square"), Araloyin Oshunremi ("Heartstopper"), Laura Haddock ("Transformers: The Last Knight") and David Schütter ("Barbarians").
Alexa Goodall takes on time thieves as Momo
"MOMO" focuses on a young orphan girl who lives in the ruins of an ancient Roman amphitheatre and befriends everyone in the neighborhood. But when a powerful international corporation begins stealing everyone's time, no one has time for her, let alone her friends or family - and Momo, along with Master Hora, the Keeper of Time, is the only one who can take on the time thieves before everything is lost forever.
