Heino mourns at the gravesite of his love
Heino's Hannelore died last year and was laid to rest in her adopted home of Kitzbühel. Wednesday would have been their 45th wedding anniversary. And even before Heino set off for concerts in Holland, he paused at the final resting place of his great love. The "Krone" has the touching pictures.
It was bitter tears of grief that folk song giant Heino had to cry after the death of his beloved wife Hannelore. To this day, the pain remains deep in the Kitzbühel native, a wound that will probably never heal completely. Of course, his manager and friend Helmut Werner and his wife Nicole are there to support him in these difficult times. Especially in such hours as they were again today on Wednesday.
"Heino is incredibly strong"
"Today would have been Hannelore's 45th wedding anniversary," says Helmut Werner, who went with the artist to the cemetery in Gamsstadt. The place where his beloved wife was laid to rest last year. It was a difficult walk for Heino, "But he is incredibly strong!" says Werner about the 85-year-old's condition.

And so he spent some time at the resting place of his Hannelore and was very close to her. The emotions were palpable in front of the grave, which Werner had decorated with flowers just as Hannelore would probably have wished. Heino laid the last rose there himself.
Then it was on to Holland. "We have a total of four concerts there that Heino wants to give. The work not only distracts him from his grief," says Helmut Werner in an interview with the "Krone", "but it also fulfills him a lot because he can give people, his fans, joy."
