Good season: Stadtadler took off in style

Sensational: For the first time in history, two youth ski jumping titles have gone to Vienna of all places. Congratulations!

When you think of ski jumping, you immediately think of snow, mountains and probably our most successful ski jumper Stefan Kraft. As you know, he is from Salzburg. But this year's overall World Cup winner could soon have competition from the big city of all places. Because for the first time in history, two youth ski jumping titles are going to Vienna! The Stadtadler, the only ski jumping club in Vienna and Lower Austria, made history, putting an outstanding end to an extremely successful season for both the girls and the boys. Among the boys, Fabian Plank (16) from Donaustadt took the overall victory in the Youth Austria Cup. Congratulations to our Viennese of the week!

Incidentally, the more than 200 City Eagles have been fighting for a training facility in the Austrian capital for years. Now, at the latest, it is high time for a junior plastic covered hill in Vienna for year-round use.
