"Bloody idiot"
Freak-out: Depp is said to have beaten up co-star
Lola Glaudini (52) was in front of the camera with Johnny Depp (60) for "Blow" in 2001 - an unpleasant experience, as she now reports. The actor is accused of shouting at and insulting his co-star on the set of the film.
Following the major court case involving Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard (37) almost two years ago, there are new allegations against the actor. His fellow actress Lola Glaudini reported in an interview about a verbal altercation on set.
Johnny Depp and Lola Glaudini were seen together in the 2001 drug dealer drama "Blow". Depp played cocaine dealer George Jung, while Glaudini played a supporting character called Rada.
"Who the hell do you think you are?"
In an episode of the podcast "Truth Angles", Glaudini spoke about a traumatic situation between her and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star on the film set. After the actress followed director Ted Demme's instructions - she was supposed to laugh out loud after a monologue by Depp - Depp lost it.
"After the director's 'cut', he came over to me, stuck his finger in my face threateningly and said: 'Who the fuck do you think you are? Who the fuck do you think you are? Shut the fuck up. I'm here trying to say my lines and you're drawing attention to yourself. You fucking idiot!'"
"Just don't cry"
The most awkward moment for her happened on the very first day on set. After Glaudini, clad only in a bikini and lying on the floor, was intimidated into silence, Johnny Depp is said to have said: "Oh, it's not so funny now? Can you shut up now? Can you shut the fuck up now? As quiet as you are now, you'll fucking stay that way."
Glaudini, who had been a big fan of Johnny Depp up to that point, only had one thought in her head at that moment, according to the interview: "I just thought: Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry."
Depp delivered "apology without apology"
After director Ted Demme didn't say a word about the incident he had witnessed, the rest of the team also distanced themselves from the actress. "After filming finished, I was like an outcast. Nobody wanted to talk to me because I was the bitch he insulted."
According to the 52-year-old, Depp later gave her an "apology without an apology" during the shoot. He is said to have explained to her that he reacted that way to her because he was so engrossed in his role as the drug lord. "I just wanted to make sure everything was cool between us?" he is said to have asked her.
