Bloody attack with iron bar and glass bottle

On Thursday night, the Vienna police were called out in Favoriten after several unknown men attacked three victims with an iron bar and glass bottles.

At around 1.45 am, a group of five men suddenly appeared at the intersection of Laxenburger Straße and Gudrunstraße and threatened three men aged 22, 23 and 29. They hit the victims several times with an iron bar and glass bottles. After the bloody attack, they fled.

Victims seriously injured
Attentive witnesses immediately alerted the emergency services. All three were seriously injured in the attack. They are currently in hospital. There is no trace of the suspects so far. 

Description of the perpetrators

• all about 1.75 meters tall
• probably of Arab origin
• beard
• wore a fanny pack at the time of the crime

Motive unclear
It is also completely unclear why the attack took place. The police are looking for further witnesses and are asking for information.
