Enjoyment in the city park and Kirtags fun in the city
As soon as the temperatures start to climb, Vienna's outdoor festivals get underway. Like this weekend.
Friday marks the start of the Genussfestival in the Stadtpark. Until Sunday, visitors can sample delicacies from over 100 AMA food producers - but that's not all: at the numerous experience stations, young and old can find out how the products are made. Friday and Saturday are open until 9 pm, on Sunday, Mother's Day, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Music and fairground stalls on Stephansplatz
The traditional Steffl-Kirtag is held not far from the city park on Stephansplatz. Until Whit Monday (May 20), visitors can enjoy brass music, concerts and numerous Kirtag stands. There is a carousel for the little ones and an organ night concert with cathedral organist Ernst Wally at 9.55 pm on Whit Sunday.
