Rakic after defeat: “Come back stronger!”

Aleks Rakic is already in a fighting mood again. After his defeat at the weekend in his comeback fight in Las Vegas against Jiri Prochazka, he says in his own video blog: "I've still come back stronger, and I will come back stronger."

His team created a 15-minute segment to capture the big day. From waking up ("I slept very well") and visiting a church to the warm-up and the fight itself - Rakic was hardly left unobserved anywhere.

And then the final interview. He doesn't want to make excuses, says Rakic, but does talk about his elbow infection and days of antibiotics. It was really strong medication, several pills. Was the sudden tiredness in his legs in the second round due to this? "Maybe, who knows." But the fact is: "I had problems with my stomach, extreme heartburn, I got sick again."

Unfortunate circumstances that led to the defeat. No reason for Rakic to mope. Instead, he wants to get back in the ring as soon as possible. Want an opponent? "I don't have one." And Prochzaka? "Congratulations to him. But I know I'm the more complete fighter, the better wrestler." Sounds like someone still has big plans two years after his comeback ("They've passed incredibly quickly").
