At a meeting of the supervisory board of Gswb, the largest non-profit housing developer in the country, Lukas Wolff, head of the board, announced his resignation. Following the termination of the contract of Managing Director Peter Rassaerts, this is the second departure at the helm of the beleaguered Gswb within a few weeks.

Gswb is not coming to rest. It was only announced in February that Managing Director Peter Rassaerts would have to resign, and now comes the second departure at the top of the housing association. Lukas Wolff, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Gswb, announced at an ordinary meeting of the board that he was stepping down.

Heads roll after ticket scandal
As the "Krone" learned from people close to Gswb, Wolff is said to have announced at the Supervisory Board meeting that this would be his last. Wolff is probably now drawing the consequences of the failings that recently became public. As reported, more than 1,500 tenant inquiries were set to "completed" before an inspection by the inspection office, even though they were still open. An instruction to do this had come from the highest level.

Although only a few of these tickets were still open, Rassaerts and Wolff could probably no longer be kept on due to the case and new grievances in Gswb apartments. Wolff now left of his own free will.
