Trio brutally beat up bar patrons

Things got heated outside a pub in the market town of Lustenau in Vorarlberg on Sunday night. Two men were seriously injured in the course of a brutal brawl. The perpetrators were identified.

"Closing time" was the order of the day for the guests of a pub in Lustenau at around three o'clock on Sunday morning. But instead of peace and quiet, the commotion really started. Three men between the ages of 20 and 23 began to accost another guest outside the pub.

The victim was already lying on the ground
First they pushed him around, then one of the brutals knocked him down with a headbutt. Even when the victim was already writhing on the ground in pain, they did not let go of him, instead they continued to punch and kick him.

Several punches and kicks
Finally, another guest became aware of the altercation and intervened. He had to pay bitterly for his courage: the trio also maltreated him with punches, causing him to fall to the ground. Already kneeling on the pavement, he received several more punches and kicks to the head. 

Suspects reported
The three violent criminals then fled. The two victims had to be taken to Dornbirn hospital, having suffered lacerations, bruises and traumatic brain injuries. The perpetrators were quickly identified by the police - they were reported to the public prosecutor's office in Feldkirch.
